Our 200 Hour Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Teacher Training is certified by Yoga Alliance. You will not only learn the basics of these three styles and how to guide them, but also to immerse yourself into a deep commitment with yourself and get to know yoga beyond asanas. Our yoga teacher training course is taught in English and our schedule caters to those with a busy city life.
Learn how to guide and create sequences, pranayama techniques & meditation. And gain unlimited access to all our classes during the course. Our course is for all levels of participants; for those of you who have been practicing yoga for many years and want to begin teaching or for those who are just ready to take your own practice to an even deeper level.

PRACTICAL DETAILS
Our course is taught entirely in English and our studio welcomes people from all over the world.
The practicum is comprised of the following:
120 hours of theory
60 hours of practice
10 hours of teaching
10 hours of observation & assisting*Students have the opportunity to practice their individual classes by attending our weekly regularly scheduled classes. During individual classes, you can attend any of our Hot Vinyasa, Hot Hatha and Warm Yin classes.
This course is made for all levels.

SCHEDULE
Our schedule caters to those with a busy city life. All group theory classes are held on weekends and the 60h of individual practice can be completed on your own time during the duration of the course. (You must attend 60 classes of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin during the course).

Additional Graduation Requirements
Besides the group theory classes, students must attend 60 yoga classes at the studio (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin & Meditation classes). It is each student's choice which classes they are attending and when. Our studio offers classes from morning to evening during the week and mornings during the weekend.
Students are eligible for a 4 weeks extension for the 60 hours at no extra cost. This can be used either 4 weeks before the start date or after and the practices are valid towards the 200hr certification.
Students will have to complete homework assignments and reflect on their learnings between group meetings. Students are encouraged to immerse themselves into the yogi lifestyle for the duration of the course and practice daily what they learn. Be prepared to incorporate meditation, pranayama, yoga techniques and philosophy principles into your daily routine.

WHAT DOES YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED MEAN?
Yoga Alliance Standards set the ethical and educational framework for yoga teachers and schools in order to ensure high quality, safe, accessible, and equitable yoga teaching in communities around the world.
Dóttir Hot Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, which designates this teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Students who complete a verified training with this school may be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs).

TEACH ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WITH A YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFICATION
Our course will give you the skills and the certificate to teach yoga and hot yoga all over the world.
Upon completing our course you will be internationally certified by Yoga Alliance in 200h Yoga Teacher Training in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga.

REFUND POLICY
If you cancel your spot 30 days before start of the course you will get 50% of the course refunded. Hereafter, the purchase is binding and a refund is not possible. In case of serious illness, making it impossible for you to join, a refund can be made upon request for the remaining time of the course. You need to provide an official doctor’s note stating that you are incapable of doing physical activity.

How to guide students through asanas, pranayama exercises, and meditation; how to create sequences and class management.

Alignments of key seated and standing postures; backbends, twists, forward folds, arm balances, inversions and guided classes to improve your own practice.

Learn about the main body systems including the muscular, skeletal, endocrine and central nervous system all from a yogic perspective.

Yogic Philosophy, Yogic Lifestyle & Yogic Ethics
The 8 limbs of yoga, yogic hygiene, yogic diet, yogic relaxation and the ethics of being a yoga teacher.

Trainee-Led Classes
Practice guiding classes and create your own sequences. Towards the end of the course you will be able to teach your first yoga class at the studio during our karma yoga week.

Unlimited Studio Access
During the time of your Yoga Teacher Training you gain unlimited access to all of our regular classes. This way you can attend the required 60 hours of yoga practice whenever, wherever you'd like, get inspired by different yoga teachers and observe the dynamic of class management where you will also be asked to help around at the studio.
